Inside Line Promotions – ELMA, Wash. (June 5, 2019) – Seth Bergman captured his third triumph of the season last Saturday during a Summer Thunder Sprint Series show at Grays Harbor Raceway.
It marked the first race of the season for Bergman in his home state of Washington.
Bergman made the most of his season debut with the Summer Thunder Sprint Series, setting quick time during qualifying before he finished third in a heat race. Bergman ran third during the early portion of the A Main before he used the top groove to his advantage following a restart.
Bergman powered into the lead on Lap 7 and despite a late-race caution he was victorious.
“It feels great to get back to Victory Lane, especially since we’ve come home and get to be around our families,” he said. “We had a solid night from start to finish and put ourselves in contention to win. Fortunately we capitalized and those are the types of nights we look to have every time we pull into a race track.”
Bergman has his eyes on the weather to determine where he will race at this weekend.
