Inside Line Promotions – CLEVELAND, Texas (March 27, 2018) – Seth Bergman produced a pair of positive results last weekend during an NCRA Sprint Car Bandits Series doubleheader in Texas.

The weekend began on Friday at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco, where Bergman advanced from seventh to fifth place in a heat race. He then overcame an early incident in the B Main to post a third-place result, which earned a transfer into the 19th starting position in the main event.

“We passed a lot of cars all night,” he said. “After an early caution a couple of laps into the race it went non-stop. When you’re starting so far back it usually helps to have a few cautions to bunch everyone together so I felt like we made good progress without having those opportunities.”

Bergman maneuvered from 19th to an eighth-place finish, which netted the Hard Charger Award for passing the most cars.

The action concluded on Saturday at 105 Speedway, where Bergman capitalized on a much better pill draw by winning a heat race after starting on the pole. He lined up on the outside of the second row in the A Main.

“I got up to third right away and then to second soon after,” he said. “We pressured the leader throughout the race, but couldn’t get by him to record the win.”

Bergman’s runner-up result marked his fourth top five of the season.

He is slated to compete this Friday and Saturday at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan., during the 8th annual Park City Cup/Air Capital Shootout. Bergman won during his most recent visit to the track in May of 2015.
