Inside Line Promotions – SHAWNEE, Okla. (Feb. 6, 2018) – Seth Bergman is Florida bound to kick off the 2018 season.

Bergman will compete this Friday and Saturday at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla., with the USCS Series. It will mark the first time he’s competed at the unique track since making his debut there in February 2015.

“We’re excited to get the season started and spend some time in Florida,” he said. “It’s been a while since we’ve competed at Bubba Raceway Park, but I have raced in Florida in February a few times and I feel like it’s an advantage to get as many laps as possible prior to the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour season beginning next month.”

After charging from eighth to fourth place in a heat race, Bergman maneuvered from 14th to a 12th-place result in the main event during his lone start at Bubba Raceway Park nearly three years ago.

“It’s a unique track that can really slick off,” he said. “I think momentum is important there so if you have to check up or miss your marks you can lose a lot of positions in a hurry. Even though we haven’t been there in a couple of years I feel confident going into this weekend.”

Bergman captured his most recent race – the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour season finale last year. The triumph gave him a trip to Victory Lane at least once each season for six straight years with the series.

“We measure our success in wins and our goal is to win a lot of races in 2018,” he said. “That win to close last year was a huge boost for our team and we’ve been able to carry that throughout the offseason. Hopefully we can keep that rolling and earn a win or two this weekend.”
