Inside Line Promotions – SNOHOMISH, Wash. (April 25, 2016) – Seth Bergman’s long trip home was met with rain last weekend in the Northwest.

Bergman was unable to compete as both events were washed out in his home state of Washington.

“It’s been great to see some family and friends while we’re out here,” he said. “Hopefully the weather improves for this week so we can get back on the track.”

Bergman is scheduled to compete this Friday at Deming Speedway in Everson, Wash., in a micro sprint before invading Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Wash., on Saturday for the 3/8-mile oval’s season opener.

“I haven’t been able to race a micro in quite a while so that will be a fun experience and we always enjoy racing at Grays Harbor Raceway, which is where I grew up in a sprint car,” he said. “We have high expectations to win every time we’re in a race car and that applies to both races this weekend.”

Bergman claimed the 2010 track championship at Grays Harbor Raceway.

“That was a pivotal year for me,” he said. “We went on the road in 2009 and came home to regroup in 2010. We won a lot of races and the track title at Grays Harbor that year, which was a great boost as we went back on the road in 2011 and have been on the national scene ever since.”
