Inside Line Promotions – SHAWNEE, Okla. (March 10, 2014) – Seth Bergman is gunning for his first feature victory of the season and has selected a pair of ASCS Gulf South Region events this weekend to tackle.

Bergman will compete on Friday at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas, and on Saturday at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas.

“I haven’t won any races there, but every time I’ve gone there I have felt fast,” he said. “I’m looking forward to both of them. They are both nice race tracks that put on a good show.”

Bergman scored fifth-place finishes during ASCS Gulf South Region competition at both tracks two years ago, but was unable to finish the two Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour events at Golden Triangle Raceway Park the past two seasons.

“It seems like every time I go there with the National Tour we end up crashing or getting in a wreck,” he said. “We just can’t put it all together.”

Saturday will mark only the second time that Bergman has competed at Royal Purple Raceway.

“I ran Royal Purple one time and I thought it was an awesome facility,” he said.

Bergman and the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour will resume action the following weekend at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas.
